Customized Shaped dies are used to reduce the diameter or to transform one wire shape into another. Applications include various types of ferrous and non-ferrous rods and wires.

Customized Shaped Wire Drawing Dies
Shaped dies are used in both drawing and extrusion machines.
Since 1997, MN started to custom design a seried of dies to make the required shape and tolerance from original shape gradually.
· Blanks(Nibs) material
The shaped dies can be made with tool steels, tungsten carbide(TC) , polycrystalline diamond(PCD) , Synthetic Mono crystalline Diamond(SMCD) and Natural diamond(ND)
· Case material
Stainless steel and cold rolled steel.
· Applications
For nonferrous metals wire, such as copper and aluminum, is best drawn with polycrystalline diamond dies (PCD) ,Not only maintain high wear resistance, but also get a good wire surface quality.
For steel wire, tungsten carbide dies is better, if need variety production,low cost,sample wire making or other applications.

They are used in wire drawing and extrusion machines where material is drawn through or forced under pressure through the die. Shaped dies consist of the same profile parts as regular wire drawing dies for forming round wire.
